Rice Land Levelling
Rice land levelling must suit the planned water-control system while preserving productive soil. Paddy, basin and other field arrangements do not all use the same profile.

Plan the surface handover
BeforeRecord banks, inlet and outlet levels and the cropping plan.
Work stageCompare the existing surface with the intended arrangement; minimise unnecessary cuts into the growing layer.
AfterCheck levels and observe controlled water distribution before relying on the field.
What to verify
Inspect residual high islands and local low pockets.
Field formation precedes the crop-specific seedbed or bed-making operation. Protect productive soil, check the whole water route and coordinate headlands with machinery access. A before-and-after photograph can show shape, but does not establish a crop or irrigation benefit without appropriate observations.
Scope and limits
No universal rice-field slope or guaranteed yield improvement is claimed.
Continue the job brief
