Vegetable Field Levelling
Vegetable-field levelling establishes the broad surface below the crop-bed pattern. Both field outlets and bed ends must remain connected.

Plan the surface handover
BeforeConfirm row direction, irrigation arrangement and growing-layer depth.
Work stageCorrect broad high and low areas before forming the intended beds.
AfterComplete crop-specific bed and seedbed preparation.
What to verify
Inspect drainage at row ends and changes between field zones.
Field formation precedes the crop-specific seedbed or bed-making operation. Protect productive soil, check the whole water route and coordinate headlands with machinery access. A before-and-after photograph can show shape, but does not establish a crop or irrigation benefit without appropriate observations.
Scope and limits
Levelling does not replace cultivation or establish crop-bed specifications.
Continue the job brief
