A turf production field needs a growing surface that supports mowing, irrigation and harvesting. Small irregularities can affect repeated machine passes, but unnecessary deep cuts can remove the valuable growing layer.

Plan the surface handover

BeforeRecord the existing turf system, topsoil depth and irrigation arrangement.
Work stageCorrect the base surface before spreading the growing medium; use light final passes to maintain even layer depth.
AfterPrepare the final seedbed and establish turf using the farm's normal process.

What to verify

Check the surface under the expected irrigation and traffic conditions.

The asset determines the work sequence. Separate growing areas, structural surfaces and access routes so one grading decision does not create a defect in the next operation. Use the related application guides to turn the overall industry requirement into a specific job brief.

Scope and limits

A scraper does not establish the agronomic specification of the growing medium.
